The bowls shown here are typical of the bowls I create on a regular basis. At the time you view them, some may have been sold and some may still be available. However, I generally do my turning, more or less, in a series. Thus, for example, there may be two or three versions of each of the forms shown below. If you are interested in purchasing one of my pieces, and would like more information regarding prices, shipping, etc., please contact me via phone, e-mail or snail mail. To avoid confusion, please specify the item number when corresponding regarding one of the pieces. Please confirm that the art form you are interested in is still available before sending in your order.

And, of course, I can turn a bowl to order, should you want a duplicate of one of the bowls pictured below. Or, perhaps you would like a vessel turned from a treasured tree downed by storm or disease. For details re; custom orders, E-mail me at webmaster@harrywicks.com or, harrywix@yahoo.com. Or, if you would like to visit our studio-gallery, please call or email and we will provide directions for getting here and date confirmation---so I am certain to be here when you arrive.

Kwanzan Cherry woodThe classic bowl form here is underscored by the low-key rim decoration. Turned of local Kwanzan cherry, design motive here was to create rim detail which emphasizes the wood's beauty---dark heartwood abutting lighter sapwood. Like most of my bowls, this bowl is foodsafe. Item Number: 1B   Price: $90.00 Salad BowlSuper-size salad bowls, such as this cherry bowl, are usually custom ordered. The bowl shown, 15” dia. by 5-1/2” high, is in a private collection.

Maple BowlTurned from a maple burl, this bowl with thick wall is designed to emphasize the massive strength of the maple tree from which it came. All occlusions are natural; none are manmade, making this piece perfect for use as a dining table centerpiece. 12-1/2 dia. x 4-1/2” high.
Item Number: 11B   Price: $175.00
Understated Maple BowlSculptured bowls become strong focal point when used as table centerpiece. This one was created from a burl trimmed from a downed Black Locust tree. The burl was carefully turned to preserve natural occlusions and the grain is accented by multiple dyes used inside. 11 dia.x 6” high. Item Number: 16B   Price: $375.00
